They Would Be Happy People ::

Our first album “Pangs”. Empirically improvisational by nature - yet lovingly crafted and collected in multitrack scrapbooks. Whittled down while adding and subtracting melody, form, and lyric.

Aleksandar Popovic on drums and percussion. He brings the Balkan psychedelic battery and certainly rocks the flower stem and spiral staircase.

Leslie Graves is the singer and writes the words. She is also the Taurus of the group.

Paul Williams and David Voigt play all the other stuff. Paul is from Shropshire near the waterfall and also chooses the wine and grows the vegetables. David throws down Guam-style and is also the arranger/engineer who has twirled the knobs with the likes of The Sun Ra Arkestra, John Cale, Luna, Patti Smith, and Elysian Fields.
